A missing teenager from Cumbria may be in Newcastle, police have said.
Mia Burrows, from Penrith, was last seen in the Vue cinema in Carlisle at approximately 2.30pm on Saturday (July 27).
Cumbria Police believe the 16-year-old could be in Newcastle as there have been alleged sightings of her in the city.
The force are appealing for anyone with information on her whereabouts to get in touch.
A spokesperson said: "Mia is described as white with very-long red hair. She was last seen wearing a grey hooded-sweatshirt, grey jogging bottoms and black trainers.
"Police are appealing for anyone with information on Mia’s whereabouts to get in touch by calling 101.
"Officers also ask Mia if she sees this appeal, to get in touch to let them know she is safe and well."
