Concern growing for missing Scots schoolgirl last seen at wooded area near supermarket

Concern is growing for a missing Scots schoolgirl who was last seen at a wooded area near a supermarket.

Aylajean Colvan, 13, was last spotted at around 6.30pm on Friday, February 25 near the wooded area in Robroyston in Glasgow, which is close to the ASDA superstore.

Police have launched a frantic appeal for the assistance of the public in tracing Aylajean, who is from Stepps.

Aylajean is a white female and is described as being approximately 5"1 in height, of slim build, with no glasses or makeup and no obvious piercings.

She has long blonde hair which is worn down.

When last seen she was wearing a black puffer leather jacket, black jogging leggings with a Nike motif, a brown sweatshirt and black Balenciaga trainers.

The family and police are now becoming increasingly concerned for Aylajean and officers say any help to locate the teenager safe and well would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101.

Quote incident number 3043 of February 25.
