Concern growing for missing man 'believed to have form of dementia'

Concern is growing for a missing Somerset man believed to have a form of dementia.

Police are appealing for the public's help to trace 57-year-old Gino Sidoli, who has gone missing from the Wellington area of Somerset.

He has been missing since March 8 and was last seen in the Walford Cross area, walking in the direction of North Petherton.

There was also a possible sighting of him in Clifton where he has previously spent time living in a tent. 

Mr Sidoli has links to Keynsham as well as Wellington, Taunton, Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea.

He is described as a white man, 5ft 6ins tall of medium build and unshaven or with a beard.

When he went missing he was wearing a black jacket and black jogging bottoms although it is possible he is not wearing this clothing at present.

Police say he is believed to have a form of dementia and may appear confused or depressed.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "We’re appealing for your help to trace 57-year-old Gino Sidoli, who has gone missing from the Wellington area of Somerset.

"We would like Gino to contact us or anyone who believes they have seen him 

"If you can help call us on 101, quoting reference 5219050774."
