Concern growing for missing Glasgow man last seen at city hotel a week ago

Concern is growing for a man who was last seen at a hotel in Glasgow one week ago.

Michael Fitzpatrick disappeared after being spotted at the Travelodge, on Paisley Road, last Wednesday.

The 49-year-old was last seen at the hotel near Springfield Quay at about 7pm.

Police say it is out of character for him to go so long without contact with his family.

He was reported missing on Friday.

Michael is described as being 5ft 8in tall and of slim build with greying short brown hair.

Sergeant Richie Armstrong, of Govan Police Station, said: "It is out of character for Michael to be out of contact with family members for this length of time and we urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to get in touch as soon as possible."

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
