Concern growing for missing Dundee woman as police check CCTV

Concern is growing for a woman who vanished in Dundee over the weekend.

Lynn McPaul was last seen in the city at about 11.40pm last night.

The 45-year-old’s family described her disappearance as ‘out of character.’

Police Scotland officers are now reviewing CCTV images from the Perth Road where she was last seen.

Lynn is described as white, around 4 ft. 11 inches in height, with long brown hair.

When last seen she was wearing a black knee-length Nike coat. The Nike logo is on the back of the coat.

Inspector Grant McGaughay confirmed extensive enquiries are under way to trace Lynn, however, attempts to locate her have so far proved unsuccessful.

He said his officers are continuing to review relevant CCTV images and speak to family and friends in an effort to find out where she may have gone.

He added: “Our concern for Lynn is growing, it is out of character for her not to be in touch with anyone and her family is understandably very concerned.

“If anyone has seen Lynn or has any information or knowledge as to her whereabouts, please contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0157 of 24 January, 2022.
