Concern growing for missing 49-year-old Durham man Stephen Gilroy

Police are searching for a County Durham man who has not been seen for four days.

Stephen Gilroy, 49, went missing from his home address in Sacristion , near Chester-le-Street at around 1pm on Tuesday.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are now appealing for help from the public.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Stephen Gilroy aged 49 who has gone missing from his home address in Sacristion at approximately 1pm on 16/07/2019.

"If anyone has any information regarding his whereabouts or welfare please contact Durham Police on 101. Incident DHM-19072019-0095."
