Concern growing for eight puppies stolen in Castlemilk armed raid

Concern is growing for eight puppies who were taken from their home in Castlemilk during an armed raid on a family home.

Police are appealing to the public for information to help them find the three-week old pups.

The XL bulldogs, thought to be worth around £1000 each, were snatched at around at 1.30am on Wednesday (August 21).

Police say four robbers targeted the home, while a 29-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, two girls aged 17 and ten and a two-year-old boy were inside.

Before making off with the dogs, the thugs 'smashed up' the house and vandalised a Mercedes parked outside during the targeted raid.

Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101, quoting incident number 5813 of Saturday 24 August 2019.

Three men aged 19, 33 and 37, have already been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

A fourth man, aged 27 was arrested in connection with the robbery. He appeared from custody and was released on bail.
