Concern for welfare of missing Canberra man

Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing Canberra man.

They said Trent Edmonds, 26, hadn't been seen since Friday when was in Cook.

"He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 174cm (5'7") tall, with black hair, brown eyes, and of slim build. Trent has writing tattooed on the inside of his left arm," police said in a statement.

"Police hold concerns for Trent's welfare and are requesting the public's assistance in locating him."

Mr Edmonds was known to frequent the Belconnen and city areas.

Anyone with information that could help police find him is asked to contact ACT Policing operations on 131 444 and quote reference number 6562043. Information can be provided anonymously.
