Concern for welfare of missing Ayrshire woman as police launch search

A desperate appeal has been launched to trace a missing Dundonald woman with concerns growing for her welfare.

Lisa Haining, 50, vanished from her home and was last seen in the early hours of Friday morning in the Castle View area of the South Ayrshire village.

She is described as 5ft, of slim build, and has dyed blonde hair with dark roots. When last seen she was wearing black leggings, an olive green shirt, a brown jacket and white trainers.

Officers investigating her disappearance say Lisa has access to a white Renault Twingo car with a 65 reg plate.

Inspector William Deans, Police Scotland, said: “Concerns are growing for Lisa’s welfare and I am asking anyone in the Ayrshire area who has seen her or knows where she might be to please get in touch.

“If you are out and about, please keep a lookout for her and contact us if you see her.

“If you can assist then call us on 101, quoting reference number 0588 of Friday, 20 January, 2023.”
