Concern for Waterford boy missing five months as gardai renew appeal for public's help

Gardai have renewed their appeal for help in locating a missing 16-year-old in a bid to refresh the public’s memory and to encourage anyone with information to come forward.

Bobby Power has been missing from Waterford city since Tuesday, July 26, 2022, and is described as being 5’9”.

He is of a slim build with black hair and brown eyes, according to investigation police, but it is not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Gardai and Bobby’s family are extremely concerned for the youngster’s wellbeing, and so anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact gardai.

They can do so by calling Gardaí in Waterford on 051 305 300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

A statement released this morning read: “Gardaí are renewing their appeal for the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16 year old Bobby Power who has been missing from Waterford city since Tuesday, 26th July, 2022.

“Bobby is described as being approximately 5 foot 9 inches in height with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.

“Gardaí and Bobby's family are concerned for his welfare.

“Anyone with information on Bobby’s whereabouts is asked to contact Gardaí”.
