Concern for Scots pensioner with 'number of vulnerabilities' after he is reporting missing

A Scots pensioner with a "number of vulnerabilities" has been reported missing.

John Guest, 69, was last seen around 7.30pm on Thursday July 8 on the High Street in Invergordon.

He had suggested that he travelled to Inverness at the time but his subsequent movements are currently unknown.

John has been described as 5ft 10ins in height and of a larger build, according to Police Scotland.

He was wearing a black t-shirt, blue shirt, blue denim jeans and a black hat at the time of his disappearance.

The 69-year-old currently has very short hair and no beard although he may have slight stubble growth.

Sergeant Nicola MacDonald said: “John has a number of vulnerabilities and it is important that anyone with information about his whereabouts contact police as a matter of urgency.

“If you were in Invergordon around this time and later in the evening did you see John? Do you have dash-cam footage or CCTV? Did you see him in Inverness or surrounding areas? Please check any sheds or outbuildings in case John has taken shelter.

“Anyone who can help us trace John is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 3666 of 8 July.”
