A missing woman who left her home without any belongings has been found after more than 24 hours.
A search was launched by police to find Donna Davison, 49, who had not been seen since she left her Jarrow home on Tuesday morning.
Police officers were carrying out inquiries to find her, and said they were growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and requested the help of the public.
It was later confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that Donna had been found safe and well.
Officers thanked those who shared the appeal.
