Concern for missing Scots pensioner last seen using walking frame

An appeal has been launched to trace a missing Scots pensioner who was last seen using a walking frame.

John Bennett has not been seen since 12.30pm on Saturday, October 17, near Wyvis Place in Inverness.

The 69-year-old has not been heard from since which family say is 'out of character'.

John is around 5ft 4 inches and of slim build.

He has short white hair which is balding and was last seen wearing a red waterproof jacket and to be walking with the assistance of a walking frame.

John is known to walk from his home address into the City Centre of Inverness and also into the Hilton area.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "His family are growing concerned for him due to the length of time he has been out of contact which is unlike him.

"We are continuing with enquries and we ask anyone who may have seen John or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to please contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 892 of the 20th of October 2020."
