Concern for missing school boy with links to Lanarkshire not seen since Friday

Police have released an urgent appeal to trace a missing teenager from Glasgow who may have travelled to Lanarkshire.

Luke Clarke, 14, has been reported missing from Scotstoun after last being seen near Norse Road around 4pm on Friday November 12.

Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for Luke’s safety.

They say he is known to visit Glasgow city centre, and areas in the north of Glasgow.

He may also have travelled to East Kilbride.

Luke is described as white, about 5ft 4in tall, of medium build, with short brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing a black jumper and jogging trousers.

Inspector Gavin Smith told Lanarkshire Live : “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Luke’s welfare and are keen to find him as soon as possible to make sure he is safe and well.

“If Luke sees this appeal, he should return home or call to let people know he is safe and where he is.

“We are appealing for anyone who has seen him or anyone with any information on his whereabouts to contact us.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Partick Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 0230 of 13 November.”
