Police are appealing for help after a man was reported missing in the north of Edinburgh.
Selim El Syed has been missing from his home near Leith Links since the early hours of Thursday.
The 54-year-old was last seen in East Hermitage Place at 4.30am. Selim has connections to the Pentland Hills, Dunkeld and Perth.
Inspector McCulloch from Leith police station said: "Selim has been missing for a number of hours now. We have a number of police resources out looking for Selim and I am now looking for the assistance from the public."
Selim is around 5ft 5in tall and may be wearing a green hairband.
Anyone who has seen Selim or has any information on his whereabouts can contact police on 101, quoting incident number 1047 of March 12.
