Concern for missing Ibrox man who failed to come home from work

Concern is growing for an Ibrox-based man who failed to return home from work yesterday (Wednesday).

Paul Rae, 37, was reported missing from the south side on Wednesday (September 18) and his family are worried for his safety.

He drives a black BMW one series with the registration SA14 WXO and officers have asked anyone who may have seen him or his car to get in touch.

Chief Inspector Shaheen Baber, Area Commander for Southwest Glasgow said: “Paul’s family are becoming increasingly concerned for his wellbeing and safety.

"Although Paul currently lives and works in Glasgow, he has relatives in the Moray and Stirling areas and may have travelled to these areas.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen Paul, or spoken to him since Wednesday, or anyone who may have seen his BMW car. I would also appeal to Paul directly to contact us or his family to confirm that he is safe and well.”

Paul is white, 5ft7 and slim with very short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 using incident number 4459 of 18th September.

UPDATE: Paul Rae was traced in Stirling last night and is safe and well.
