Concern for man missing from mental health unit at Stepping Hill Hospital

Police have launched an appeal after a man went missing from a mental health unit at Stepping Hill Hospital.

Saud Al-Falashi went missing from the Arden Ward at the Stockport hospital at around 12.45pm on Saturday (July 3).

The 28-year-old made his way towards Stockport town centre, but police believe he then may have travelled into Manchester city centre.

Saud Al-Falashi was last seen wearing an all black outfit (GMP)

Saud is described as an Asian male, of slim build and around 5ft 7in with a dark shaved head and short beard.

He was last seen wearing an all black outfit with a black hat and rucksack.

In a post on the GMP Stockport Facebook page, officers said Saud's family are 'becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare'.

Anyone who knows where he is, or spots him, should contact the police quoting reference number 1579 of 03/07/21.
