Concern for 17-year-old Amyleigh Walker, missing in Edinburgh since Friday

A 17-year-old girl has been missing from Edinburgh since Friday, with her family "worried sick" for her welfare.

Amyleigh Walker was last seen in the Inch around 4.30pm.

Her mum Kerianne Skinner posted on Facebook urging anyone to keep an eye out for her.

She said on Saturday: "My daughter Amyleigh Walker has been missing for over 24 hours now the police are out looking for her Amyleigh is 17 years old, 5ft 7in, long brown hair last seen in the inch area yesterday afternoon she was wearing a hoodie top and sports leggings.

"If anyone hears or sees her please tell her to get in touch we are all worried sick."

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland is conducting enquiries to trace a 17-year-old reported missing in Edinburgh. Amyleigh Walker was last seen in the Inch area around 4.30pm on Friday, August 9.

"If Amyleigh see's this appeal, we'd urge her to get in touch with a family member or police as soon as possible and let us know she is safe.

"Officers can be contacted via 101, quoting reference number 3141 of 10th August."
