A cyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a van.
The accident happened in New Pond Road, Compton, Surrey, at 4.30pm on Thursday.
A Surrey Police spokesman said: “The cyclist, a man in his 60s, was sadly declared dead at the scene. His next of kin have been made aware.
“The driver of the van, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or with any other information or dashcam footage, to come forward straight away.
