'Completely unacceptable' - Sunderland fans deliver scathing verdict on Shrewsbury draw

Sunderland fans think time is running out for Lee Johnson after this evening's disappointing draw with Shrewsbury Town.

The Black Cats threw away an early lead against the ten men of Shrewsbury who've struggled so far this season.

The result leaves Sunderland five points behind league leaders Rotherham United with one game in hand on the Millers.

Johnson's side are unbeaten in their last two league games, but pressure is beginning to mount on the Black Cats boss after poor results against Sheffield Wednesday, Portsmouth and Rotherham United.

Here's what Sunderland fans have had to say on social media:

@copperdale said: "Rotherham Wigan Wycombe winning away games at a canter plenty of goals...at this time we haven’t got a prayer keeping up with them."

@Morny_89 tweeted: "Since the defeat against Portsmouth, we have been shocking. It’s the worst we’ve played since we’ve been in the division for me. Even the games we’ve won we haven’t looked brilliant."
