'Completely owned the Pakistanis': Wishes pour in as Team India pummels arch-rivals in ODI World Cup

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday led the wishes for Team India as the hosts pulled off a remarkable seven-wicket win over Pakistan to maintain their unbeaten run against the arch-rivals at the ODI World Cup.

With the lopsided win in front of a houseful Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India took their winning streak to 8-0 in cricket's biggest rivalry between the two neighbouring countries.

PM Modi along with many others from the cricketing fraternity lauded Team India's clinical outing. The win was also India's third in a row in the ongoing World Cup.

Bowling first, the Indians bundled out Pakistan for 191 and then finished the game in the 31st over, thanks to fabulous knocks from skipper Rohit Sharma (86) and Shreyas Iyer (53 not out).
