Complete Voidling Bound species tier list

Voidling Bound has several species for you to use across various missions, and not all of them are built alike. While every voidling has great potential when you know how to use them, some are better than the rest.

This guide will help you figure out which ones are the better options.

All Voidling Bound species tier list

To separate the voidlings, I have used three different tiers.

  • S-tier options are the best possible choices. They’re easy to use, do incredible damage, and offer great evolution potential.
  • A-tier options are great alternatives to S-tier choices if you don’t have them. However, you’ll need to be more strict when building them up.
  • B-tier options are workable options who have better substitutes available in their respective roles.

I have also considered the base versions of the species, since how you evolve will be based on your choices.

Species Reason
Ur-Sek Ur-Sek is a species unlike any other as it offers two different forms. You can use the bigger form of Ur when you need to overpower the enemy. You can switch to Sek if you want pace and mobility. This dual playstyle might require a bit of learning, but it’s well worth the extra efforts.
Nimiod Nimio is the best species, all things considered, all thanks to how its primary and secondary abilities work. You can use Proximity Spark to hit enemies even with the wrong aim. Network Extender summons pylons that assist you in your fight. There’s also scope for it to gain temporary invincibility on the side, which is great against bosses.
Morfang If you just want to brute force missions and slam enemies, Morfang is your best choice. You can go the Pyro route with him for the best results. Just get close to the enemies and land your melee hits.

Species Reason
Packuran Packuran’s only weakness is the weaker damage from its basic attacks. However, you can inflict enemies with radiation hits that deal damage over time. It can also summon hatchlings to help in the fight.
Anami I love Anami because you can just stay back, hit an enemy, and move around. It offers decent crowd control with its abilities and a lot of movement speed to help you escape incoming enemies.
Gwigoon Gwigoon is perhaps the most fun species to use. It can summon its clones to help in a fight. The clones are useful in absorbing damage, but the lack of power puts this species in A-tier. When you evolve it, try to raise its base damage for better results.

B-tier

Species Reason
Kwipek Kwipek is everyone’s first voidling, and it does reasonably well. You can clear most of the early game missions with it without facing much of a challenge. However, its damage and effectiveness fall off pretty fast. If you want to keep using Kwipek, focus on getting the evolutions as fast as you can.
Kerapin Kerapin’s gameplay style feels confusing since it does range attacks. However, it’s a tank that could easily do well with melee options. Moreover, it feels extremely slow to navigate in a battle. If you like such characteristics in your voidling, Kerapin can be considered as A-tier.
