In Terminal 13: Not Human, you're in charge of a passport checkpoint, making sure the travelers who show up are human and not one of the strange impostors mimicking us. It can be a tough and stressful job, but someone needs to protect us from those creatures... or so you're led to believe. Follow our Terminal 13 Not Human Walkthrough for everything you need to survive your shift!
How to Recognize Imposters
During a shift in Terminal 13: Not Human, you'll encounter seven travelers who want to pass through your checkpoint. Each of them will scan their passport, and it's up to you to determine whether they're human or not. You do this by asking them questions and comparing the info they give you and what it says on their passport. Here are all the clues you should be looking at.

- Passport photo - If the photo in the passport doesn't match their appearance, you can safely consider them an impostor. Do note that small differences may appear, like one character having a beanie in their passport but a sports cap in front of you, which doesn't mean they are an Imposter.
- Job - Ask them about their job and compare the info. Be careful when asking students about this, because they might mislead you by telling you their part-time job, instead of stating that they're a student, making you think they're an impostor. Sorry, Minji Kim.
- Origin - Most of the time, they'll tell you the country of their origin, but sometimes they might be vague and say something like "I come from a small town near there". While this sounds suspicious, as long as they don't name a completely different country, they're in the clear.
- Duration - Simply compare what they say to their passport info. Sometimes they might tell you that they don't know, which isn't a sign that they're an impostor, just that they're forgetful.
- Reason - This one is pretty cut-and-dry; just pay attention to what they're saying when you ask them about it.
- X-Ray Scanner - You unlock this during your second shift. It's not that important, because they'll always have another indicator telling you that they're an impostor. The X-Ray Scanner is mainly used to double-check your suspicions, because it has to be charged between travelers anyway. There's only one human skeleton that will show up on your screen, as seen in the image below, and any of the numerous deviations from that one indicates that the traveler is an impostor.

Some impostors are much easier to detect because of the mutations they possess. You can spot them as soon as they come in, with some mutations including things like:
- A shaking head
- A very strange walk
- Looking like the previous human
- Not looking like a human at all
You also have access to a free hint once per shift that tells you whether the traveler is a Human or an Impostor. I recommend saving this for when the ??? traveler shows up, because you have no way of knowing if it's human or not without using the hint.
If you believe that they're Human, just hold the button to your left. If you believe they're an Impostor instead, grab your shotgun and shoot them. I suggest jumping out the window of your booth and shooting them in the back, since that will make the green goo they leave behind much easier to clean up. Mop all of it up, because every time you fill the goo canister, you get a shop item as a reward.

Which Shop Items To Buy
Every time you let someone pass, even an Impostor, you get some money as a reward. Travelers may randomly give you a tip, or you can loot money off of Impostors you shoot. No matter how you get it, you can spend it on four different shop items that can help you survive the shift, with those being:
| Item & Price | Details |
|---|---|
|
Landmine $40 |
A defensive gadget that explodes if a monster steps on it. While it's not needed most of the time, you'll want to grab it if you accidentally let an Impostor through, because it's the best way to protect yourself for what's to come. |
|
Music Box $50 |
Once you put it down, it starts playing music that will distract the monster, giving you time to shoot it down with your shotgun. Not recommended, because the landmine handles it at a lower cost. Also, be warned that if you put it down, it never stops playing the same song. |
|
Blunderbuss $60 |
It's a more powerful shotgun, but with the downside of having limited ammo before breaking down. While it looks pretty cool, it's also a waste of money, because your regular shotgun does the job, while also having infinite ammo. |
|
Scanner $85 |
Probably the most helpful item in the shop, since you can use it to tell if someone is human right away. Just activate it, and the traveler in front of you will glow green if they're Human or red if they're an Impostor, without you having to do anything else. The downside is that it only has three charges. |
All Monsters in Terminal 13: Not Human
While you'll mainly be dealing with travelers in your shifts, there are also a few monsters that can show up to try and ruin your run. They appear either when you send an Impostor through the checkpoint or as part of a random event that can happen throughout your shift. Check out our list below to know how to deal with them.
The Entity

You are warned that bad things will happen if you let any Impostor through the checkpoint, and The Entity represents those bad things. It will be waiting for you at the end of your shift and slowly approach you, dealing damage if it gets too close, killing you eventually if you're not careful.
You can make it back off if you do enough damage to it with the Shotgun or Blunderbuss, but the fastest way to guarantee your safety is to place down a Landmine right in the middle of the sliding door, so that it steps on it as soon as it starts coming for you. You might get knocked back by the blast, but it will do enough damage to make the monster leave you alone.
The Employee

The Employee is a hulking creature that might appear as a random event. He'll come rushing through the door towards you at full speed, but don't panic because he won't attack you. Instead, the lights will turn off for a moment, and he'll be gone, though an alarm will trigger, telling you that you have about 30 seconds to locate and eliminate him.
Get your weapon ready, walk out of your workstation, and turn right once you're in the hallway. You'll see him crouching to the side, hiding from you. All you have to do is shoot him once before the timer expires, and he'll disappear.
The Boss

The Boss is a being of unknown power, appearing at the end of your three shifts in chapter one. After a brief work evaluation, it reveals the true purpose of your job and terminates your employment, to say the least. While you can't interact with The Boss directly right now, it's a very important part of the story's mystery, and we'll be seeing more of it in future chapters.
Terminal 13: Not Human Walkthrough FAQ
Yes, you can play with up to three other people, or up to six if you buy the upgrade. The only real gameplay benefit is that you can pick each other up if you fall in combat against The Entity. Other than that, there are some jump scares that you can activate to mess with your friends, but those cost Robux.
No, each of them has a chance to be either Human or Impostor every time they show up. Their passport details will always be the same, but the false information that could indicate they're Impostors changes each time.
The story mode only has three shifts for you to play through, although chapter two is coming soon with more story content. Other than that, you can also play the endless mode and compete with other players to see how many shifts you can survive.
