In case you missed the news last night, the Ohio State softball team made the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive year. All in all, an astounding six Big Ten teams got into the field, with three (Minnesota, Michigan and Northwestern) all hosting first round regionals.
The Buckeyes will travel to Knoxville in their four-team pod and play North Carolina Friday at 11 AM in their first contest. What Ohio State does from there will dictate which of the other two teams it plays — and when — in a double-elimination format. The winner of each four-team tournament will move on to another four-team Super-Regional.
