Where is the Skill Tree in Hunty Zombie
You can access the Skill Tree in Hunty Zombie by clicking on the Profile button in the right-side menu on your screen and then clicking on the Skill Tree button in the bottom-left corner.
Once the Skill Tree loads, you can see the four main paths: ATK, CRIT, DEF, and SPD. Every path buffs the main stat and debuffs another, forcing you to pick the skills that best suit your playstyle.
Before taking a closer look at all the paths, their skills, and their respective buffs/debuffs, let’s take a quick look at how to progress the Skill Tree in Hunty Zombie.
How To Progress the Skill Tree in Hunty Zombie
All four paths in the Hunty Zombie Skill Tree have five levels. To unlock these levels, you need Skill Tree Points. Skill Tree points can only be obtained by playing and clearing the Payload Gamemode. Every time you clear a Payload stage, you can earn 1 - 3 Skill Tree Points. To complete one Skill Tree path, you need 75 Skill Tree Tokens. Here’s a breakdown of how many points you need to unlock every Skill Tree Level:
- Level 1 - 5 Points
- Level 2 - 10 Points
- Level 3 - 15 Points
- Level 4 - 20 Points
- Level 5 - 25 Points
You can also reset your progress by clicking on the Reset button at the bottom of your screen. That will cost you 10 Skill Tree Points and remove all your current progress.

Since every level of the Skill Tree buffs as well as debuffs your stats, choosing the wrong combinations will make you weak and ruin your gameplay experience. On the other hand, follow the right path, and you can turn into an unkillable tank or become the ultimate killing machine with maximum DPS.
Until you master the Skill Tree and its various skills, buffs, and debuffs, try the following paths for some highly effective builds:
- Maximum DPS: You will lose your defense, but you’ll be killing zombies before they can touch you if you follow this build path: ATK Path x SPD Path x CRIT Path.
- Tank Build: Players who struggle with survivability should focus on the DEF Path x SPD Path. Your survivability will increase with the DEF buffs and the movement speed buffs.
- DPS x Tank Hybrid: If you prefer a balanced playstyle, focus on progressing the CRIT Path, SPD Path, and DEF Path. The CRIT Path will counter the debuffs of the DEF Path, while the SPD Path increases your attack speed and reduces Skill CD for a positive effect on your DPS. Taking the DEF Path up to Fortify would be enough for early to mid-game content.
