Anime Overload is a Tower Defense game that incorporates characters from the most popular anime series and is thus certain to bring tons of fun to anyone playing it. While most of the game concepts are familiar from other anime tower defense games, there are certain nuances unique to this game in particular you need to be aware of in order to guarantee a good time inside of it. Thankfully, we have created this detailed Beginners Guide to help you get the hang of things and start off on the right track.
Best Team Composition in Anime Overload

To do well in Anime Overload, you have to utilize the six Hero slots given to you with utmost efficiency. To do this, you will need to have a proper team composition.
It is no secret that damage is king in tower defense games such as these, and Anime Overload is no exception, because at the end of the day, the goal is to kill as many enemies as fast as possible. Thus, it is completely viable to run a full squad of DPS units alone. These units include the likes of Crimson Queen (Dominant), Bald Hero (Super Serious), Sosoke (MS) and Sokono (Domain).
However, to fully unlock the potential of your lineup and actually allow yourself to farm money, you should consider bringing 1-2 Support heroes that specialize in crowd control, and 1 Farm hero. Namely, we are referring to characters such as Susono, Goju and Eskanor.
Also keep in mind that all characters have elemental properties which can potentially synergize with the abilities of some heroes. For example, some support heroes such as Ener only buff the stats of DPS heroes with specific elemental properties, Light and Storm in this case.
How to Farm Crystals and Tokens in Anime Overload

Crystals and Tokens represent the premium currencies in Anime Overload, and they are extremely important as they are used for a variety of things, such as to buy special items from the Shop. Below you will find some of the best methods for farming them in the game.
- Chilling in the AFK Chamber. The easiest way for farming massive amounts of crystals and tokens, simply join the afk chamber and leave the game running in the back, and you will find yourself with thousands of crystals! After just 10 hours of leaving your device on, you will find yourself 5000 Crystals richer!
- Completing the Story Mode missions: The main gameplay loop of the game will also reward you with currencies as you progress, albeit in much lesser amounts than some of the other methods.
- Completing the Story Mode missions on Nightmare difficulty: Finished all the story missions? Do not worry as you can replay them on Nightmare difficulty, earning you much more Crystals than completing them on Normal difficulty, around 200-300 per completed mission.
- Participating in Raids: Partaking in Raids, which is an alternative game mode, will also reward you with considerable amounts of Crystals.
- Leveling up your Season Pass: A system which is very familiar to pretty much everyone. Complete quests, gather XP and collect your rewards. Purchase the premium pass to maximize them!
- Collecting Daily rewards: Last but not the least, this one is the quickest method as you only need to log into the game and collect the rewards from the "Daily Rewards" button found on the left side of your screen.
