Competition could see Scotland fans end up in Moscow, Russia or Moscow, Ayrshire

Twenty lucky Scotland fans will win an all-expenses-paid trip to Moscow to watch the Russia vs Scotland UEFA EURO Qualifier

But there's a catch.

Only one person, and a guest, will actually travel to Moscow, Russia.

The remaining 19 – along with their plus ones – will travel to Moscow, Ayrshire where there’ll be no Russian bears, but plenty of Scottish beers for the football party of a lifetime.

As Scotland gear up to face Russia at Hampden Park on Friday, September 6, Soccer FM’s Steven and Ray will drive around 20 locations in Scotland in the Soccer FM van on Wednesday, September 4 and Thursday, September 5.

As they drive round, clues to each of their locations will be revealed through Soccer FM and Pie & Bovril’s social media channels. To enter the competition, football fans will need to get to the van and chuck their name in their big Russian Ushanka.

At the end of the trip, the 'Vlads' from Soccer FM will pull the names of the winners out of the hat revealing who is going to Moscow, and who is going to Moscow.

On the promotion, Ray and Steven said: “After more than 20 years of heartache, we stand a solid chance of reaching a major tournament. And that’s a really exciting prospect! So, we wanted to come up with an idea that’s going to give this game the excitement it deserves.”

Whilst Pie and Bovril founder Dave MacDonald said: “We’ve got the best support in the world, so it’s only right that we send them on a round-the-world trip! From Moscow to Moscow we know each and every Scot will be behind the lads. Come on, Scotland!”

The fixture, which will take place at the Luzhniki Stadium on the October 10, is the second of two fixtures against Russia in the UEFA EURO Qualifiers.

Tickets for the first fixture – at Hampden Park on September 6 – are still available from tickets.scottishfa.co.uk
