Traffic: Bus diversion in place due to Portway road closure

The Portway is closing all weekend for "essential roadworks".

The Portway is closed inbound between 7.45am on Saturday (January 11) and 6.45am on Monday (January 13).

Travel West England says the Portway Park and Ride service will be operational but a diversion will be in place during the closure period.

The diversion route is as follows: "From the Portway left into Sylvan Way, right into Shirehampton Road.

"At mini roundabout right into Druid Hill onto Stoke Hill across traffic lights onto Stoke Road, Whiteladies Road, Queens Road, right at the Triangle down Jacobs Well Road to resume normal route at Anchor Road."

The diversion route means some stops will not served, including Sylvan Way, Riverleaze, Roman Way and Trinity Church.
