Tram services across Manchester are facing severe delays this morning due to 'ice on the line'.
Commuters travelling on the Manchester Metrolink lines to Manchester Airport, East Didsbury, or Rochdale could see prolonged waits.
Transport for Greater Manchester confirmed that this is due to ice on the overhead lines.

Temperatures plummeted to a freezing -2 degrees in the early hours of this morning, causing the issue.
It is thought this could impact hundreds of journeys across the city this morning, January 13.

Travellers are able to use various bus services with their tram ticket if they do not want to wait for a delayed service.
Earlier this morning, at around 5.30 am, Manchester Metrolink tweeted that there were initially only 'minor delays'.
For those using the Manchester Airport line, between Victoria and Manchester Airport, tickets will be accepted on the 11, 19, 43, 101 and 103 commercial bus services.
People travelling on the East Didsbury line, between Deansgate-Castlefield and East Didsbury, can use their tickets on the 23, 41, 43, 101, 103, 85, 86, 142 and 143 commercial bus services.
And those on the Rochdale/Oldham line, between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre area, can use their tickets on the 59, 81, 83, 181, 182 and 184 commercial bus services.
All other Metrolink routes are running with 'good service' as of 6.30am this morning.
It is not yet known when these delays will be resolved but Transport for Greater Manchester have apologised for the inconvenience caused.
