IT will be a day Sarah Soars and Joshua Edge remember for all the wrong reasons.
The young couple from Mondrook near Taree lost everything when their home, and their pets, were washed away in a torrent of floodwater that has engulfed the Manning region.
If that wasn't enough of a blow, March 20 was to be their wedding day.
One video, posted by Ciara Knox of Taree, showed the little three bedroom home rented by the couple being swept down the Manning River.
Joshua's brother Lyle Edge has created a GoFundMe page for the couple which in 24 hours, has raised more than $72,000.
"What was suppose to be their wedding day ended up with them losing the house they were renting and everything they have work hard for and sadly losing their pets as well," Lyle said.
"We are trying to raise money to help them start again, anything would be much appreciated."
The home was owned by Tracia Milton and Peter Bowie who are said to be devastated their little cottage has been destroyed and a young couple's dreams ruined.

"I don't think it's really hit me that much yet ... until I see my partner and we figure out where we are going," Sarah told national media yesterday.
Of the 1300 people who have already donated to the couple's cause, there are heart-warming comments from the local community.
"My heart cries for your plight. Hopefully through everyone's generosity and support, you can recover. We are all in this together," one donor said.
"On what should have been the happiest day of your life, your loss of all you have , including precious pets, takes much resilience to come back from. I hope my little contribution helps you get back on your feet and helps you both towards a brighter future. In my thoughts and prayers," said another.
