The community in West Cork have been paying tribute to a young boy who was tragically killed after being hit by a car in a driveway.
Little Rowan Duster Bennett Lawn was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after the accident in Tralispean, just south of Skibbereen.
Rowan was taken to CUH where he tragically passed away leaving his family heartbroken.
Tributes have been flowing in with many sending their thoughts and prayers to Rowan's family - CorkBeo reports.
One person said: "There are no words to comprehend the pain and grief you are all going through. Just know you are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficulty time.
"May the memories you have of your dear little boy give you comfort and strength in the days and weeks ahead.
"Fly high with the angels and watch over your family little man. Mind each other. Rest in peace in your heavily home."
Another said: "Really sorry to hear about your little boy. He looks like a really happy chappy. You will be in my thoughts."
One family said: "We can't even try to imagine the pain you're all going through at this awful time. My God bless and watch over you in your grief at the tragic loss.
"Please know that everyone is thinking and praying for all your family."
Details of Rowan's funeral have yet to be set, while a postmortem took place this week.
A file will also be prepared for the Coroner's Court.
A post on RIP.ie reads: "LAWN (Tralispean, Skibbereen): on January 25th 2022 ROWAN DUSTER BENNETT treasured son of Amy and Joe and wonderful brother of Nye. Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, brother, grandparents Noel, Lesley and Stella, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends."
