Judo stars aim to add more medals for India
Avtar Singh will headline India's judo campaign on the final day as he competes in the men's -100kg category. Ishroop Narang in the women's -78kg category and Yash Ghangas in the men's +100kg category will also represent India on the mat.
Indian judo has already created history at Glasgow 2026. Asmita Dey became the first Indian judoka to win a Commonwealth Games gold medal after claiming the women's -48kg title, while Harsh Singh added another gold soon after.
Yamini Mourya won a silver medal, while Unnati Sharma secured bronze to further strengthen India's performance in judo.
Track cyclists chase historic Commonwealth medal
India's track cycling contingent will compete for a maiden Commonwealth Games medal on the final day.
Ronaldo Singh Laitonjam will compete in the men's 1000m time trial, while Harshveer Singh Sekhon and Dinesh Kumar will participate in the men's 40km points race.
Sixteen-year-old Lisha Das, the youngest member of India's Glasgow 2026 contingent, will conclude India's para track cycling campaign in the women's C4-C5 1000m time trial final.

Closing ceremony and India's 2030 hosting handover
The Commonwealth Games 2026 closing ceremony at The Hydro will officially mark the end of the Glasgow edition.
India will formally take over as the host of the 2030 Commonwealth Games during a 20-minute cultural presentation. Led by Shankar Mahadevan, Manushi Chhillar and other performers, the showcase will highlight India's heritage before the Commonwealth Games flag is handed over to Ahmedabad.
The closing ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 AM IST on August 3.
