In each incident the offender breaks into a business throw a window or door, police said.

Chicago police are alerting Jefferson Park business owners of four commercial burglaries reported in June.

In each incident the offender entered businesses by breaking a window or door and stole property from inside, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The first incident occurred June 19 in the 3500 block of North Harlem Avenue and three incidents happened between June 23 and 24 in the 7300 and 7200 blocks of West Belmont Avenue, police said.

Police did not offer a description of the suspected offender.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
