An agency and companies announced events and activities related to the royal cremation on Saturday.
- The Office of the Prime Minister will sell 40,000 pins commemorating the royal cremation on Sunday for one day at the Public Relations Department’s main auditorium on Soi Ari in Bangkok, starting at 8am. Each buyer can purchase up to two pins at 300 baht each. Unlimited purchases can be made by reservation starting Dec 1 onward.
- Major Cineplex Plc will offer free parking space at its five standalone cineplexes in Bangkok from 7am to midnight on Oct 26 to facilitate mourners. They are the Ratchayothin, Pin Klao, Sukhumvit, Rangsit and Esplanade branches.
- Chevron (Thailand) Ltd will donate 0.50 baht a litre from the sales of all types of Caltex fuels on Oct 26 to the Chaipattana Foundation.
