Joules, the fashion retailer known for its wellies and jackets, is set to open six store sat Center Parcs across the UK and Ireland.
The AIM-listed chain said it has launched a partnership with the short-breaks firm that will see it open new branches from next month.
The Joules Center Parcs stores have menswear, womenswear and childrens clothing on site, and there will also be a click and collect service. The stores will include areas to host activities, when government guidelines allow, such as arts and crafts.
Nick Jones,chief executive of Joules, said: “The partnership between two outdoor loving, family-focused lifestyle brands has significant potential and supports Joules long-term strategy to develop its brand presence in line with its customers’evolving lifestyles and increase its customer base.”
The boss recently told the Evening Standard that although digital sales have been jumping, physical stores are still important to the brand: “They are part of our customer proposition, both today and in the future. We want customers to have choice.”
The Center Parcs sites, which will house the Joules stores, are: Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, Elveden Forest in Suffolk, Longleat Forest in Wiltshire, Whinfell Forest in Cumbria, Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire, and Longford Forest in County Longford, Ireland.
