Comics tycoon Mark Millar has been left delighted after discovering the original recipe Irn-Bru is back on the shelves.
The 51-year-old creator of movies Kick-Ass and Kingsman turned his back on Scotland’s other national drink after a recipe change in 2018.
Makers AG Barr tweaked the recipe in response to a sugar tax introduced by the UK Government.

Earlier this month the firm announced that Irn-Bru 1901, which uses sugar instead of sweetener, would make a permanent return to shops in 750ml glass bottles.
Coatbridge-born Millar, who once drank three cans a day, said: “Immediately bought a bottle and it’s beautiful. I had forgotten just how great this tasted!”
