June 26--Possibly the biggest panel of the entire weeklong San Diego Comic-Con extravaganza has just been announced. So start packing your line-waiting sacks, Friday is "Star Wars" day. Plus, who knew "Shannara" was going to SDCC?
San Diego Comic-Con has just dropped its Friday schedule, and here are a few of the highlights:
AMC's "The Walking Dead" and its massive cast will mob Hall H at noon, so those of you outside of the convention center listen for the screams from Norman Reedus fans all packed into one, gigantic room.
A surprising panel in room 6DE is the cast of MTV's TV adaptation of "The Shannara Chronicles." It should be interesting to see how fans react to the casting of the wildly popular fantasy books.
The kings and queens of Comic-Con, the cast of "Game of Thrones," will take Hall H at 2:30 p.m. The panel will be hosted by Seth Meyers, yet another celebrity moderator at SDCC 2015.
And finally the most important panel of them all, the "Star Wars" panel. Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan will all join forces to blow your face off with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" news. And maybe footage, who knows? The mystery is strong with this one. The panel is in Hall H and begins at 5:30, you should probably go get in line right now.
