Comedian Joel McHale to serve as analyst on Seahawks radio Saturday

A familiar face will be heard on the Seattle Seahawks Radio Network this weekend when the team takes on the Chargers in Los Angeles. Comedian and Seattle native, Joel McHale, will serve as an analyst in the booth with Steve Raible on Saturday night.

“I am deeply flattered and thrilled to be alongside of Steve Raible to be calling the Seahawks game on Saturday vs. the Chargers,” McHale said via the press release. “I’m going to tell some jokes, have a really good time, and we are going to win.

“Here’s a little spoiler, Steve Raible is my real father.”

McHale graduated from MercerIsland High School before attending the University of Washington, where he pursued his Master of Fine Arts in the Professional Actor Training Program. He was a regular on the local comedy series “Almost Live” before producing and appearing in the hit “The Soup” on E! McHale most recently starred in the NBC sitcom, “Community.”

The Seahawks are set to kick off against the Chargers Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. PT so be sure and tune into 710 ESPN Seattle or KIRO 97.3 FM to listen to McHale’s call of the game.
