Comedian Geoff Norcott to perform on Tyneside as part of his BASIC BLOKE tour

Geoff Norcott is set to perform on Tyneside as part of his sixth national tour.

The comedian will embark on a 70-date tour, which he has named "BASIC BLOKE", in September this year. The 46-year-old will use humour to unlock some of the more complicated behaviour of husbands, dads and brothers.

He has announced a date in Newcastle during the autumn. He will perform at The Stand on Friday, October 20 this year.

Geoff has appeared on TV shows including Have I got News For You, A League Of Their Own, The Last Leg, Would I Life to You?, 8 out of Ten Cats, Live At The Apollo and Backstage with Katherine Ryan.

He has scripted comedy for Tom Davis' King Gary (BBC1) and Stephen Merchant's The Outsiders (BBC2) and makes regular appearances on Question Time, Politics Live, Peston and All Out Politics.

Other credits include his own documentary 'How the Middle Class Ruined Britain', which aired on BBC2, and releasing his first book, Where Did I Go Right (How the Left Lost Me), in 2021.

The memoir garnered praise from comics including Romesh Ranganathan, Katherine Ryan and David Baddiel and enjoyed 5-star reviews across Amazon, Audible and Waterstones.

The tour will run between September 6, 2023 and April 27, 2024. Below is the full list of locations on the tour:
