Comeback kid and new queen

Returning to competition after his 2014 retirement, 32-year-old Takahashi finished second in men's singles for his first podium finish in six years, and 18-year-old Sakamoto won the women's singles title for the first time. Men's singles champion Shoma Uno did not skate in the exhibition event due to a right ankle injury.
