'Come home' - Chelsea fans say the same thing after Eden Hazard reaction to Real Madrid loss

Chelsea supporters are desperate for Eden Hazard to "come back home" following the Champions League semi-final victory over Real Madrid.

Hazard played 89 minutes for Los Blancos in his first trip back to Stamford Bridge since leaving the Blues for around £130million back in the summer of 2019.

During his time with Los Blancos, the 30-year-old has struggled to get on the pitch too much due to injury problems.

The Belgium winger has featured just 18 times for Madrid in all competitions this season, but did manage to play some part over the two legs against his former club Chelsea.

Hazard's reaction to Wednesday evening's defeat in west London did not go down very well with the Spanish media.

He was pictured laughing on the pitch with former team-mate Kurt Zouma once the full-time whistle had been blown and Madrid's departure from the Champions League had been confirmed.

Now, Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to talk about Hazard and his future - and there's one thing in their minds.

Hazard looked somewhat off the pace at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, which is hardly surprising given the lack of football he has played recently under Zinedine Zidane because of fitness issues.

But that wasn't the main talking point from a Madrid point of view after the Chelsea defeat, it was in fact Hazard's reaction with his former team-mates following the match.

Jamie O'Hara told talkSPORT that he believes Hazard has lost his winning mentality.

“Oh, don’t get me started… seeing that, when he’s laughing and joking after the game – you’ve just got beat," O'Hara said.

“You’re at Real Madrid, probably the biggest club in the world, and they’ve paid £100m for you…

“Alright you’ve been injured, fair enough, but you’ve come back and you’re not fit, you’re miles off it…

“You’re laughing and joking after you’ve just got knocked out of the Champions League semi-final? Where’s your winning mentality gone?!

“Of course, it’s Zidane has played him, but when you walk off the pitch don’t start laughing and joking with the other team.

“They’re not his buddies, they’ve just mugged off his team! There are no mates on a football pitch.

“I just don’t agree with it. The game has changed, the winning mentality, the philosophy and how people act now, these young lads all being pals – get out of here!
