The makers of Channel 4's Come Dine With Me are appealing for contestants from Liverpool to apply for a new series with an unusual twist.
The hit show was forced to stop filming in 2020 because of covid, but production restarted over the summer.
Usually contestants throw a dinner party at their own home in a bid to win £1,000 and be voted winner of the competition.

But this series will feature a new format, where local restaurants go head-to-head to host the best overall dining experience, all scored by the other restaurants taking part.
Multistory Media is now looking for restaurants across Liverpool which would like to show the world what they can do.
Come Dine With Me - The Professionals is asking for restaurants to apply by nominating at least one chef and one other staff member to represent them in a battle against two other restaurants.
The winners will be those who host the best dining experience and will walk away with £1000 and the prestigious Come Dine With Me award.
The evenings will be marked on food and drink, service, atmosphere, and overall experience.
Anyone who enters must be over 18 and work as a chef or member of staff in the restaurant they will be representing.
Filming will take place between April 25-27.
The restaurant's owner must give permission for filming to take place.
