Some TV moments live on forever, with tears and tantrums clocking up millions of views on YouTube. Some become so popular that they inspire memes and other have even been used on t-shirts and mugs.
TV sponsor tombola bingo has ranked the most iconic TV moments based on YouTube views - and you might be surprised at who takes the top spot. In first place is Ant and Seb’s 2008 X Factor audition, featuring the pair singing Mysterious Girl before security had to be summoned to remove them from the audition room.
The memorable moment boasts 11.7 million views on YouTube. The pair also inspired a viral internet meme captioned ‘When your Mum says take your brother with you’.
The second most-watched TV tantrum according to tombola was George Gerasimou’s 2011 X Factor audition, showing him swearing at the judges and clashing with Tulisa. His audition racked up 5.1 million views.
Also featured in the top 10 is a clip from a 2016 episode of Come Dine with Me, which sees four people hosting strangers at a dinner party in their home in a bid to win a £1,000 cash prize. Fans of the show will remember the moment the phrase "You won Jane. Enjoy the money, I hope it makes you very happy. Dear Lord, what a sad little life, Jane" was uttered - going straight into TV history.
Away from the most watched clips, it was the Great British Bake Off's 'Alaska-gate' that really got viewers talking, tombola says. Episode four of series five in 2014 saw Iain's Baked Alaska taken out of the fridge by accident by Diana and subsequently melting on a hot day in the tent.
Its analysis showed 3,759 tweets mentioning the words ‘baked Alaska’ and ‘GBBO’ as Iain threw the baked Alaska in the bin, leaving the judges with no choice but to eliminate him.
