Come celebrate the life of an acclaimed artist

Acclaimed artist Pomme Chan invites patrons to learn more about her through a compilation of her artworks during "Yesterday I Was, Tomorrow I Will Be", at RCB Galleria 1, 2nd floor of River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung Road, until Nov 20.

Held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her career, the exhibition gathers more than a thousand artworks created through the feelings from every stage of her life.

Inspired by her ambitious dreams and life in her early 20s, this can be regarded as her "lifetime exhibition" as it represents her retrospectives in different periods of times.

They were reflected through the early works, which developed into a variety of styles, resulting in a unique design well loved by many people today.

For Pomme Chan, whose real name is Tachamapan Chanchamrassang, her dream 20 years ago was to become an illustrator, a long journey that she finally accomplished. Within this year, her dreams to have a solo exhibition and publish a book of her own also become true.

With the support by the Happy People Studio design team, the exhibition will take viewers into the past, the present and the future to experience the journey of her success which is presented through different perspectives. On display are drawings in black ink inspired by her passion in fashion and imaginary world, as well as original sketches on stencil paper and some first artworks she designed as an illustrator that have never been revealed before.

They are presented alongside interior design works and typography she created as a professional artist. Also expect to see her digital paintings, as well as some art pieces made from recycled materials such as upcycle plastic.

This might be regarded as her last solo show before she will turn to be a full-time entrepreneur.
