Combine will give Seahawks closer look at WSU tackle Andre Dillard

The NFL Scouting Combine is underway and the Seattle Seahawks will be in search of the best players to make up their 2019 rookie class.

Despite only having four picks in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Seahawks are certainly going to scout any and all talent at the Combine, with the potential to trade higher picks to acquire more depth later in the Draft.

One player Seattle has already been connected to is Washington State tackle Andre Dillard.

Dillard’s size and mobility as a pass-blocker are what drew Seattle to him in the first place, and the Combine will be a great way for him to show off his strength and footwork in front of scouts. Already a potential first round pick, the Combine could vault his perceived value even higher, potentially making him a tough target for the Seahawks.

Of course, the Combine can have the reverse effect as well, as a bad showing could tank his value and potentially allow Seattle to snatch him up in the middle rounds – assuming they trade down for picks in that range.

Dillard is one of many names for Seahawks fans to pay attention to this weekend.
