Colvend Primary School’s house captains Lucy Leyshon, Andrew Roan and Connor Rennie, were delighted to receive the generous gift of a Samsung Galaxy Notebook and docking station on behalf of the school recently.
The Covid pandemic had highlighted to the Colvend and Southwick Community Council the importance of good internet access during lockdowns and it had wanted to find ways to support the school in these difficult times.
It approached LEADER in order to be gifted any IT equipment that was surplus to requirements.
It will be sent home on a loan basis to any families requiring additional IT support during the year.
