Colvend Primary pupils given chance to develop STEM skills on return to classes

The return to classes and learning with others gave pupils at Colvend Primary the chance to develop their STEM (science, technology and maths) skills in teams to investigate air resistance.

The designers of the future had great fun experimenting with their parachutes.

The school's P7 house captains Connor, Lucy and Andrew have tested out the new school shed donated by the parent council with money raised from their sponsored walk.

Thanks go to Dalbeattie Garden Centre for delivering and putting it in place.

Pupils and staff are going to make it a creative learning space for writers and artists.
