Columbia University, Cornell University and Brown University have issued campus evacuation orders amid reports of bomb threats on Sunday afternoon.

Cornell told students and others to avoid its central campus area and law school. Local and state law enforcement agencies are assisting campus police, according to its alert. The school is located in Ithaca, New York.

A student newspaper at Columbia University in Manhattan reported evacuations had been ordered of multiple buildings. There were reports on Twitter of threats of explosives being placed on campus and threats against any law enforcement presence.

Brown University also ordered an evacuation and police are investigating multiple buildings on campus involving a bomb threat, the Brown Daily Herald, the school’s student newspaper, reported.

Yale University was the subject of a bomb threat on Friday.
