Colts WR T.Y. Hilton says Texans didn’t stop him, but only had a bad game

Indianapolis Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton, a regular killer of the Houston Texans, caught six passes for 74 yards and a touchdown in his club’s 30-23 win over their AFC South rivals Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

While it could be considered that he was stopped, given he did not reach the century mark receiving for the sixth time in seven regular season games, Hilton does not consider the Texans to have done anything to stop him.

“I knew they were going to come out and play me a little different,” Hilton told reporters after the game. “I was reading little audibles. They were very physical throughout the whole game. If I went inside they would just jam me at the line. If I went outside there were a couple guys in my face.

“That was pretty much all they did. I dropped a couple throws, so that’s on me — I had a bad game. Nothing they did, just had a bad game.”

Hilton also went on to say that he didn’t care, according to Colts Wire, because of what fellow receiver Zach Pascal did.

Pascal caught six passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns in the victory that sent the Colts to 4-3 on the season and gives them first place in the division for now.

The Texans will get a chance to find answers for Hilton, Pascal, and the rest of the Colts receiving corps on Nov. 21 in a Thursday nighter at NRG Stadium.
