Colts work out 6 kickers amid Adam Vinatieri’s struggles

The Indianapolis Colts are sticking with veteran kicker Adam Vinatieri, but that isn’t keeping them from maintaining an eye on the market.

Despite both head coach Frank Reich and Vinatieri himself saying the latter is still kicking, the Colts worked out several kickers on Tuesday, as first reported by Field Yates of ESPN.

Among those players was Cole Hedlund, who worked with the Colts this offseason as an undrafted rookie free agent. He was waived during roster cuts.

Vinatieri, 46, has missed two field goals and three extra points this season. He missed only seven kicks total all of last season.
